Lake Lure Ski Club

For 2011, the club decided to concentrate on conducting skills clinics for the vast portion of the summer.  Club members Chris Braund, Mike Loiancano, and Lynn Pitts offered their expertise in areas from rope handling to wakeboarding, slalom turn carving, and barefooting.  Many thanks to these members for holding exceptional clinics that truly made a difference.

With only three weeks of practice, the club performed two shows at the end of the summer.  Aug 20th and Aug 26th were the dates and photos of each show can be seen at the links to the right.

The very first water meeting for 2011 was rained out.  Actually 1/2 hour before this photo was taken there was a severe lighting storm hitting the lake.
