2010 Ski Season

The 2010 ski season started off with a spring meeting held at Larkin’s On The Lake where new officers were elected and a unanimous decision was made to continue with the annual Ski Show in conjunction with the Hickory Nut Gorge Olympiad on August 27, 2010. Throughout the summer ski practices for the show were held on Thursdays at 5:30pm. Casual ski gatherings were held on Tuesday evenings. New members to the club for 2010 were the Cleary and Thurlby Family’s, Leslie Meade and Josh Breneman. Club T-shirts were made and sold primarily to club members. Next year we hope to have more shirts to sell to our fans. The Ski Show was a success so much so, the Club is considering having four performances in 2011. The summer-end luncheon held again at Larkin’s On The Lake was a pleasant time to review the years activities and discuss next years plans. Pictures of the season are below.
